My name is Miranda Ingram - I am the San Marcos-based artist behind studio loush — a creative venture officially established as an LLC in February 2026. The name loush is a family nickname carried close by the people who know me best.

Art has been a constant thread in my life — through school, career shifts, and new cities. studio loush is finally giving that passion a proper home, and a way to be shared with the world.

I was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Katy with my family. I was in art classes all throughout school and eventually found my way towards education in my early career. I studied psychology at UTSA, and went on to complete my Master's in Educational Psychology — also at UTSA. That graduate work genuinely expanded how I see the world. Deeply studying learning, development, and motivation, and through the wide range of perspectives and people I met along the way, I was privileged enough to see education issues from many angles. These experiences and stories are now a part off my everyday mindset and play a huge role in how I approaches new ideas, skills, and challenges.

Today, I work full-time with Metro Fire Apparatus Specialists, servicing and specializing in firetrucks and emergency gear. It might look far from the art studio, but that same curiosity and determination is the engine behind studio loush.

Art made by a real person,
for real people.

Every order is personal. Every piece is original. That's the whole point.
